ANALISA PENINGKATAN GAIN ANTENNA MENGGUNAKAN ARRAY FEEDING PADA FREKUENSI X BAND

Microstrip antennas are that often applied because of their simple structure and easy to apply. The purpose the experiment was design analyze results microstrip in CST applications with a frequency 10.5 GHz. Experiments used single patch antennas, 1 x 2 arrays using patches 4 antenna patches. Each series has different characteristics return loss, gain, VSWR, axial ratio. Based on these experiments, were obtained, namely loss patch, array 1x2 respectively -19 dB, -11 dB while gain 2.9 times, 9.09 times 2.27 times. lowest VSWR value is found circuit highest antenna. ratio an same 40, 35. results, it can be concluded each specification values not same, but still included appropriate criteria, <2 below -10 dB.
